The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) will help ease financial barriers to accessing oral health care for eligible Canadian residents. Applications will open in phases starting with seniors - you can see when you can apply on the Canadian Government's website.

To qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), you must meet all the eligibility criteria that is set out by the Government of Canada. If you have dental coverage through a provincial, territorial or federal government social program, you can still qualify for the CDCP. If you meet the eligibility criteria, your coverage will be coordinated between the plans to ensure there are no duplication or gaps in coverage.
